The Art of Place

Attaining a sense of “place” will ultimately lead you to the answer to many questions. A “place” has the power to affect the lives of many. A “place” creates cultures, where people are able to express themselves and their ideas freely. A “place” is the root of values and has the capability to creates opportunities for many.

An artist who I look up to a lot goes by “AbrahamInk”, a tattoo artist. I have a whole other level of respect for tattoo artists..the HONOR of having a person walking around with something YOU created for the rest of THEIR lives is astonishing. This artist in particular has been the family tattoo artist for years. He loves what he does, he does it with passion. The passion he puts into his work is what people need. It’s so inspirational. Another person I find very inspiring is Frank Jimenez. He’s the CEO of arborwealthinc. He actually spoke at a career day in my 4th-grade class! He reached out to me recently and the message he puts forth is so inspiring. He says that he dedicates his life to “educating businesses and individuals on how to convert income into wealth”. He essentially helps people find their “place” among society and the economy.

Other forms of place to consider will most definitely have to be virtual places. In this day in age, working with virtual places is slowly becoming the norm. It’s something that can be taken and used during times like these, which helps many maintain some form of “place”.

Overall, the Art of Place is perceived differently by everyone, but it generally all varies from person to person anyway. A “Place” has the potential to make or break someone, to inspire someone, to help someone… that’s what makes it art — the impact it has on a person, whether it be positive or negative.
